The Sports Career Question on the Show: What advice would you give to university students who wants to pursue a career in sports broadcasting?
Ed's Reply: Practice, just reps, I think if you can make it a simple analogy, because we're covering sports, we probably all love sports, we want to be a sports broadcaster. If you think about someone training for the Olympics, you train at the gym, you do the sprints. Or like a Professional Footballer a Striker they go out on the pitch and trying each day to hone those skills like their touch and shooting. It's the same with broadcasting particularly the training , use University as a training ground. Obviously pass your exams, get your grades, get your certificate and enjoy yourself as well. But try and just get those reps and get in the studio so basically you can take things out of the equation.
